Brien Sheedy leads snow camping trip in the Blues
Brien Sheedy, director of the Outdoor Program, recently co-led with two students a snow camping trip to Horseshoe Prairie in the Blue Mountains. The 12-member group literally camped in the snow and put in miles on skis and snow shoes. Temperatures were in the teens; “not too cold,” Sheedy said.

Kay Fenimore-Smith develops curriculum for...
Kay Fenimore-Smith, associate professor of education, developed a curriculum based on the 2006 history book published by the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation that teachers at the Nixyaawii Community School will use with their students.
