
Elizabeth Vandiver, Clement Biddle Penrose associate professor of Latin and classics and chair of the Department of Classics, was a visiting scholar March 23–25 at Lewis-Clark State College, Lewiston, Idaho. She taught a class on Aeschylus’ stagecraft, led a faculty discussion on “Households Versus Heroines: Athenian Women On and Off the Stage,” and gave a public lecture titled “The Measure of All Things: Greek Tragedy in its Cultural and Intellectual Context.” Her visit was funded by a grant from the Rosehill Estate to the LCSC Alumni Foundation.
